Meet Dr.

Every child. Every classroom. Every day.

Dr. Keisha Williams began her career teaching 4th grade and rose to become principal of one of the district's most improved Title I schools. She holds an Ed.D. from State University and serves on the regional literacy council.

She's running because our board needs an educator's voice — someone who understands what teachers, parents, and students actually need to succeed.

Where Dr. Stands

The Issues

Teacher Pay & Retention

Raise starting salaries and end the revolving door of new hires.

Literacy by Third Grade

Evidence-based reading instruction in every K–3 classroom.

Safe, Welcoming Schools

Counselors, not just security — and zero tolerance for bullying.

Career & College Ready

Expand AP, dual-enrollment, and modern trades pathways.

Parent Partnership

Real two-way communication, not after-the-fact announcements.

Smart Budgets

Dollars to the classroom, not the central office.
